Molly has a Bachelors degree in Music Education and Violin, and a Masters degree in Music and Violin. She also has Suzuki Training in Violin Books 1 and 2, and Cello Book 1. She has attended the Aspen Music Festival, and has played in the Lincoln NE symphony, and the Sioux City Symphony. She has been on the faculty of UNOs School for Strings, and is a string coach, and occasional guest conductor for the Omaha Area Youth Orchestras various orchestra and string ensembles. She has been the All-City Middle School Orchestra conductor twice in the past ten years, and is the conductor for the 2008 All-City Middle School Orchestra. In 1997 she received the Nebraska American String Teachers Association award for Outstanding Public School String Teacher.
Molly has basically lived the Violin, and the Omaha Symphony, since her late mother, Virginia Moriarty was a 52-year member in the orchestra. Molly was fortunate to be her moms stand partner for the last 7 or so years her mother played in the Symphony.
Molly was one of the judges for the Septermberfest parade this September (2007). She was representing the Omaha Musician's Union.
